Hi Kirk -

If you use a standard wattmeter, and it measures average power, 50 to 60 
watts is plenty, maybe too much.  Your PEP output is up where it should 
be, 100 + watts.  The 930 is plenty good for SSB, just use the RF 
processor at a fairly low level and adjust the ALC accordingly.  Check 
with other stations to see that you are not distorting or splattering, 
you WILL DECREASE your readability if you set your processor too high or 
your mic gain too high (and ALC goes out of range).  Really!

If you want, I will be happy to meet you on the air and give you an 
opinion.  Many stations will even play back a recording of your audio.  
You need to set it all very carefully to get maximum readability.
