Hello....
I am having a problem getting my TMV-7A programming software to read the
radio. I am using a laptop with Windows XP Home, and a USB serial port adaptor box
by Belkin. It works with all other software and applications. The port is set
to com 2 both in the box and the software. I used the software correctly on
my desktop years ago but I can not easily remove the radio from my trunk. I
just use the laptop on battery and connect to the TMV-7A while setting it in the
trunk. I get a communications error when I select "read" from the menu. The
port settings are correct per the kenwood email. (9600, 8, n, 1, flow control is
xon/xoff. Does anyone have a solution?
Thanks and 73's...
