SSB is a communications mode.  Studio quality does not make it easier to =
communicate, but usually makes it more difficult to hear clearly, =
especially if band conditions are not good.
     If one wants to be clearly heard, if one wants to not be unpleasant =
to his fellow hams, and if one wants not to interfere with others who =
are 3 kHz away, use the hand mic that came with the rig, or in case of =
the older Kenwood rigs, use the hand mic that is recommended in the =
manual.  It is called good operating practice.  It really is that =
simple.                                                               =
