[Kenwood] TS-900 question

Mike... I once had about 4 sets of these. I've come to my senses and kept
one working setup...rig VFO, and speaker.
It is alot like a transceive version of the T599/R599. My dial pointers are
the same brilliance. I don't recall if there is a bulb in that pointer, or
if it just channels light from a bulb nearby the pointer. If that were the
case...time to open it up and see if either the bulb shifted, or someone put
in the wrong replacement bulb. I had a problem once with the zero beat
oscillator gizmo not working. It was a transistor in the oscillator stage of
that circuit (in the VFO)
I agree....one of the nicest rigs the eyes can behold!
