With all due respect, hams with attitudes like yours are why the FCC will
not feel remorse when they shut down amateur radio and sell our spectrum
to large business intrests.

Where will you be when BPL wipes out HF? Do you plan to just quit? Or will
you phone congresscritters and such and gripe at them in the same
curmudgeonly fashion? Either way, with an "idiot-until-proven-otherwise"
attitude like yours, you won't get far. Nobody will have the patience to
talk to you long enough to prove to you they aren't stupid.

I am not a no-code, and I do not support the removal of CW from the
license test, and I don't use bands above 10M, but I won't call someone
else an idiot based solely on their license class.
