This is not true. Tim actually wrote,

"I've just acquired a #95 1.8 ssb filter made by Inrad for my TS-570DG.
The instructions say to clip off two of the 5 pins on one side stating
they are ground pins and are not needed even for the "kenwood filter"
(singular). My question is if this will effect ether the cw or ssb

Talk about something being taken out of context...

The tag line is just a quote, meaning that someone else actually wrote it
and to say that "Tim Randa, K0FL, wrote :"
the quote is far from being an accurate statement.

"Must I understand that you all  approve such attacks ?"
I don't think anyone saw it as an "attack" we saw it as a question
about an Inrad filter. Nothing more!

My suggestion is lighten up and don't make a mountain out of a mole hill.

Besides when an American decides to attack something or someone there is
little doubt that an attack has taken place. I just don't see it in this
case.

I am SAD ... Not because of the quotation, it doesnt make any sense out of
its context, but because EVERYBODY left it pass without reaction, even the
moderator.
Must I understand that you all  approve such attacks ?
And what have they to do with Kenwood ?
