[Kenwood] Recharging the LiON battery

Recently purchased a TH-F6A, which is my first HT
which has a LiON battery.  Given that it takes 6 hours
to fully charge the battery, it is convenient to
charge it overnight.  Is it ok to recharge the battery
even if it isn't fully discharged?  Will this affect
the battery in any way?  I don't want to have it
discharge in the middle of the afternoon, and then
have to spend 6 hours recharging it.  If I can fully
charge it at night when it has dropped some it would
be much more handy.
