[Kenwood] TS-930 P.S. board repair

Thanks to KA1PK (who had a similiar failure) and EB5AGV
who posted some very helpful information on problems he encountered with =
the PS board in the TS-930.  I was able to quickly repair my trusty =
TS-930. However I'm wondering if anyone out there has come up with an =
improvement on the Q6 regulator section and  or does anyone have a =
suggestion for replacing the 2sc2235 with a more commonly available =
device? I tacked in a 2N5490 (all I happened to have  on hand) to get =
the radio working but it is  way too large to fit
on the board.=20
