Dear Kenwood,
Recently I acquired a TM-D700, like you know that equipment have a Serial
PORT (RS-232). I used that port with my notebook for several programs that
make use of TNC and a program MCP-D700. After I made an upgrade of my
notebook for a newer model, that doesn't have a SERIAL port, just USB ports.
Like this being acquired at the market a cable that makes the conversion USB
to SERIAL. After that all programs that use TNC continued to work perfectly
with that cable however MCP-D700 dont.
I believe that is due to the fact of the program refers directly to the
address of the serial port, that it different because the cable SERIAL - USB
converter generates a virtual SERIAL driver.
I would like you help so that I can solve that problem and keep on using
MCP-D700 once this is no my only need but also a market demand.
I really apreciate help.
Best Regards,
Wilson
