[Kenwood] Compact "Kitchen Sink" Mobile Rig?

I have had a TS-50 for about 12 years that I carry back and forth to
the Philippines every couple of years.  It has not given me a bit of a
problem ever.  But I do miss not having VOX while contesting.  I don't
know why they left it out.  At home I contest with both hands on the
logger keyboard and transmit SSB using the home rig's VOX.  I use a
laptop for logging when using the TS-50 but have to have rapid hand
movements to key the mike by hand, log the contact, then go back to
the mike.  Yes, I could use a foot switch but would rather have VOX.
