[Kenwood] SM-220 question???

Actually having the low IF out isn't bad at all.  On the R-820 receiver Kenwood 
brought out the High IF and Low IF (There are actually three IF frequencies in this 
receiver - triple conversion).  I have one SM-220 with a BS-8 in it to perform the 
frequency spectrum display function and the low frequency IF is connected to the 
regular scope function on another SM-220 without BS-8.  Thus providing a full view of 
the RF envelope waveform of the received signal.  You can if an AM station is over 
modulating, cool!  So my R-820 transceived with my TS-820 and the two SM-220 sure 
makes one heck of a powerful station.  Even the new display type rigs don't offer all 
that viewing at one time, hi.  Maybe over kill, but it sure impresses visitors.  Since 
I have a Drake C-Line, a Collins S-Line, why not a Kenwood 8-line hi hi.
