I found the noise blanker on the R-5000 to be the best one I have 
encountered, although the TS-430 had a pretty good one. the 540 
and 570 blankers don't seem to be anywhere near as effective. 
However I doubt a NB will help your situation.

I find that the DSP on my TS-570 does a very effective job at 
removing the 'frying' from line noise, although the signal looses 
some of its natural sound in the process.
