[Kenwood] TS430 Won't do split freqs

Thanks to all who have offered help here.

Let me clarify the problem here. I did try the obvious first, with the
R-A/R-B switch. The display does not change when keying the xmtr, this was
my first indication that the splits may not be working.  All testing is
being done into a dummy load and not into an antenna at this time.

When the VFO-A is set for 29.600 and VFO-B is set for 29.500 and the R-A is
selected the rig xmts on the VFO A freq 29.600, not the VFO-B 29.500. The
display does not change to 29.500 it stays on 29.600. R-B does the same
thing, whatever B is set for that is where it rcv/xmts on.

I even tried to set cross band splits and the same thing. A 28.300 B 14.300,
select R-A xmt on A, select R-B xmt on 14.300.

Tried programming the MEM CH 8, when inputting the final freq that is where
it xmt/rcvs on again no splits.
