Hi all,

I have a TS430 that won't do split freqs. I've Been through the owners =
manual on how to set up for splits with the R-A or R-B VFO switch and =
MEM ch 8. Neither method works, the rig stay's on whatever freq the =
selected vfo is set for

I have looked over the service manual and schematics for the control =
board, at first I thought it was a couple of diodes on the R-A/R-B =
switch that program the cpu (IC1) P16 P17 lines, but discounted that =
after looking how Mem ch 8 appears to be after these diodes. I'm =
starting to suspect the cpu itself.

Before I tear this apart has anyone had this problem before? I did =
search through the archives here and nothing like this was listed. Also =
looked through the SB's that I have managed to find and nothing.=20

Any ideas would be helpful.

Thanks,
Ray Keefe=20
