[Kenwood] Remote conn. for TS-2000

Hello to the group,

I hope that you all had a Merry Christmas and received everything that you
have dreamed of. I was wondering if there is another way to hook up a linear
on a TS-2000 other than using the remote connector ? My wife is not very
good at soldering....hi hi What about using the cw key input ? I have a
separate t/r relay for my linear as well, so that the pin diode or reed
relay used internally won't be burdened. Thanks in advance for any responses
