[Kenwood] Wanted ---kenwood TS-870S & questions.

Iam looking for a 870s as a back up rig. Is there any differance between a ts-870 and the ts-870s?
  Does any one know when the 870 design was no longer changed in production,how far back can you go and still have a CURRENT  radio? 
  Any body have one for sale? or since they are no longer made, any place doing a discount on the remaining inventory?
