[Kenwood] Using the SM-230 Station Monitor

I am using a Kenwood SM-230 Station Monitor with my TS-950SDX and I am =
interested in exchanging emails with other users of the SM-230 station =
monitor, to find out how you are using it, and how best to set it up, =
etc.

I have played with the bandscope function on receive, and it seems to =
work marginally, but I would like to be able to view received signal =
wave forms, and wonder how that is supposed to be set up.

I am not really interested in using this to monitor my transmitter =
waveforms, but more interested in useful applications for monitoring =
received CW and SSB signals, if there are any (useful applications, that =
it).

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
