[Kenwood] Help Please...TS-850 Lost RX Audio

Have you checked the TXB and RXB voltages? If you don't have a service
manual/schematic, take the bottom covers off and you should see the markings
on the board. If I remember right, you should see 8v and this should go to
zero when you switch one and another. From what you say, it seems like yours
is not going to recieve completely, which would make low sensitivily or no
recieve something to be expected. hence, my guess is that on the RXB, you
will NOT see zero. Go to N6TR's "850 repair page" and you might find
something of help. if I remember right it is all to do with a chip and a
diode (d31?).
