[Kenwood] Kenwood mobile problems

I have two mobile radios that I am having problems with and need some help.
First is a TM-241A. Sometimes when it is turned on all I can get on the display
is garbage. I have investigated the circuit board connector that commonly
causes display problems in these rigs and it is OK. Sometimes I can get the
display to clear up by cycling power several times or sometimes by pressing
keys on the front of it.

Second, I have a TM-741A that has a "encoder" problem. When I use the knob
to change memory channels, the operation is erratic. Sometimes when turning
the knob the memory channel does not change as it should and it just jumps
around.

Also I am looking for a TSU-5 tone board for a TM-221A.

If anyone has any ideas they would like to share it would be greatly 
appreciated.
