[Kenwood] TS-2000 and packet

Hi Kevin, hard to help long distance but I'll try a few suggestions.
First..make sure you are getting the  (cmd) prompt from the radio..this
tells you the tnc is on and the radio and computer are talking. Next the
command to tx without being connected is (K). If you can't tx by hitting
enter after using this command you do have other problems. Lastly...check
that you have your callsign set using the (mycall) command at the cmd
prompt. Most nodes won't let you connect unless you have that set. Be glad
