According to Kenwood technical bulletin ATB-0023, published 10/11/96, the 
part part number printed on the Eproms should end in "F"  (IC4= 
27C256PCJJTF) if you have the new prom and "E" if you have the old one 
(IC4= 27C256JJTE)
