A friend of mine has a TM-G707 that radiates a continuous local signal
on 146.805. The signal seems to be radiating from the control head.
It's present regardless of what band or frequency the radio is on. It
saturates it's own receiver when set to 146.805 with an antenna
connected. This happens to be one of our local repeaters so the radio
is useless. He said it worked fine prior to the appearance of this
problem and other than this problem it continues to work OK. Perhaps
other TM-G707's do the same thing but if they are not used on 146.805,
the owner's do not realize they exhibit this problem.
I do not have a service manual so I thought I would ask if anyone
knows the fix for this.
Thanks for any suggestions someone may have.
