This will not be great consolation for you, but I have same with my
TS-930...

As shows me spectrum display of any psk31 software, it is (in CW mode only)
abt 20dB over noise level ...

I dissassembled all signal unit, checked all switching diodes, cleaned all
contacts with de-oxid, tryed to tune XCO levels, to tune 100kHz IF (then
broked product detector filter, had to buy it at Kwd Parts...) - and now I
know that I can't do more...

I remain with hope comes day somebody in this world finds any solution ...

And get acustomed to this leaking tone for the meantime ...
(or change radio ...? or mode - to RTTY for example... )
