[Kenwood] Tkanks and a Question About TS-850 Display

Hi all,

Thanks to all who replied to my previous question about the difference =
between a MC-60 and MC-60A.  It's great to have almost immediate help =
from the list!  Well, on to the next question.  As I stated before, I =
just picked up a used 850 and had a question about power up.  When the =
rig has been off for a day or so the display is slow to light.  It might =
take 3 to 5 seconds before the display lights up but you can still hear =
static through the speaker.  Is this normal or possibly something going =
bad?  Also, when I power up the 850 after a few hours the display =
responds almost instantly.  Anyone have any thoughts?
