Emil,
It depends on what your needs are. Do you need 220MHz? If so,
then the TH-F6A is the way to go. The TH-F6A puts out a full
5 watts on 220, the VX-7R only puts out only 300mW. Do you want
to monitor SSB on the HF bands? If so, then the TH-F6A is the
way to go. The VX-7 doesn't receive SSB. Do you want to go
swimming with your HT? If so, then the VX-7R is the way to go
since it is waterproof for up to 30 minutes. The TH-F6A is not
waterproof.
