This whole copyright thread is irrelevant. Kenwood has its manuals 
freely available at:

NOTE:  Need a File Transfer Protocol (FTP) download application such 
as Anarchie to access this site; a standard browser will not work.

One would be in violation of copyright laws if one attempted to 
reproduce a copyrighted publication for one's personal/corporate 
financial gain without the copyright owner's permission. IIRC, 
operator manuals are within a different publication category than, 
say, a novel; copyright lawyers out there, please clarify if 
necessary.

While I'm on my soapbox, these personal attacks on those with whom 
one does not agree detract from the spirit, word, and quality of this 
fine eList. FWIW, I'm an Eagle Scout (1961), a very active Scouting 
volunteer, and do not appreciate persons being accused of being a 
"Boy Scout" in a derogatory manner, especially by person(s) who are 
barely literate and cannot compose a coherent sentence without proper 
punctuation, capitalization, nor grammar.
