[Kenwood] Re: Can Someone Answer This Kenwood Warranty Question?

Found this (below) on their page re. Car & Home Electronics.
If this applies to their Ham Communications products then it
means second hand purchases are technically not covered.

I don't understand how they determine what was a gift and
what is a second hand purchase.  Seems they are obligated
to honor any claim by anyone within the warranty period
following purchase if they ever anywhere honor the warranty
for a non-purchaser -- the reason for a non-purchaser
requesting in-period warranty service should be irrelevant.

They sure don't make getting answers to such questions
online easy!

I suppose I will need to call them tomorrow for a clarification.
Sure don't need any ugly surprises!
