At that current level you are close to damaging the power supply. The finals
are fine. Find out why there is no power getting thru the filter unit. I
would suggest using an audio amp into the mike input in SSB mode and
adjusting the mike control to draw 2-3 amps and start tracing. The power
level is too low to regulate so you have to do it yourself by cutting down
the drive.

I would be interested in knowing if any other ts940-sat users have
experienced low tx power.
Worked normaly for quite a time,and then with no aparent cause,can now only
get 15 watts at most(all modes) using randam long wire, using g5rv lucky to
get 3 watts.
Meter readings on tx as follows.
Ic           aprox 14 a
Vc         aprox 28 v
Power  0 reading
ALC     0 reading.
All suggestions would be gratefully rxd.I am very new to using
transistorised txs.
Many thanks to all who replied to recent posting,unfortunatley none of those
suggestions cleared the fault. Mant T.I.A. Barrie g4yjs.
