[Kenwood] MC-60 and MC-60A

Can someone tell Me the difference between The MC-60 And the MC-60A  ? I 
have seen them on E-Bay and I know the one I have Has MC-60 On it , but it 
is a Amplified Mic did Kenwood , When they first started Making the 
60A  Just use the same old Stamp on the older one ?
