[Kenwood] Kenwood TS-830S SSB Filters

Bob- The stock filters in the 830 are; in the 455 IF-CFJ455K5 (a Murata 
ceramic filter used in early production runs of the 830) or the CFJ455K12 
(used in later production runs).  The K12 is a great filter and is Kenwood 
Part number L72-0333-05.  The stock SSB filter in 8.83 IF is the YK88S1 with 
about a 2.7 bandwidth.  If you call Kenwood Parts, I think you will find 
that these filters are still available, although expensive. You may be able 
to find these filters used.
