[Kenwood] TS-50

[Fred Stevens K2FRD]

I've had no significant problems with my "early" TS-50S. The fan 
keeps it comfortably cool even under high duty cycles using a 
thermostat to kick it in; very quiet fan, I might add. I used it for 
up to sixteen hours per day as may main rig during my three-month 
DXpedition to Labrador last year with absolutely no problems.

If I had to critique this machine, I'd state that it's only 
shortcoming is the lack of VHF capability. If Kenwood were to add 6m, 
2m, and 70 cm to the TS-50, and keep the price down, it would have a 
winner.
