[Kenwood] PIEXX TS-940 Interface Board

I sent this yesterday, but forgot to change outgoing mailservers so it was
rejected.

I am on my second 940 and have interfaced just about everything that you can
think of to it hihi.  Here is a link to a pdf file on my webpage that

That should get you started.  Right now, I have a Kantronics KAM interfaced
via the 13pin connector as well as a psk interface (I use the FSK socket for
FSK keying for RTTY).  The 7 pin connector provides a place for the Amp
control, both switching and ALC as well as my footswitch.  As I recall the
other connector is for the transverter?, but I could be wrong.

I use the PIEXX unit with Hamlogger and it works great.  The unit installs
in about 10 minutes and duplicates the original interface unit in function.
It also eliminates the need for the external RS232 Level converter.  The
folks at Piexx (Chris as I recall) are helpful and responded to my questins
right away. I give PIEXX an A+.

Please feel free to ask should you need specific advise on interfacing that
rig.
