Chuck... I am curious... why would one want to spend the funds for an
expensive studio mike when the band pass of a SSB rig will NOT allow ANY
high fidelity. A mike that has a fairly flat response from 60/100Hz to 3KHz
will sound great... a studio mike normally has a fairly flat response from
DC to 20 KHz + so therefore the spectrum is wasted because the rig will not
allow it PLUS if you made the rig pass it... you would have everyone form
here to yonder bitching because of the super wide and broad signal that is
eating up spectrum and causing some serious problems (not to mention get the
attention of the FCC).

equipment... and a decent studio mic... I understand there is a audio input
at the rear of the rig... where does this insert the audio? At what stage?
Product detector? Or same as front?
