the VFO reset. Entered the correct frequencies, tones and offsets in the VHF
and UHF then tried to work those repeaters. In both VHF and UHF when the
transmit was engaged the ON AIR lit up and the offset frequency came up for
about 1 second and then the ON AIR went off and the frequency returned to
the receive frequency while the transmitt was still keyed up. It did the
same thing on both bands and all power levels. I even used an external 13.8
power supply to the input at the top of the radio with the same results. The
radio receives fine on both bands. The battery level indicator shows no bars
when the transmitter is keyed on either band.
