[Kenwood] TS-50 question

Hi there,

I have a TS-50 and it works great. However, I have a question regarding
mike gain/deviation on FM.

On AM it sounds best on the low mike gain setting (menu B, #66) On SSB it
needs to be in the hi setting. On FM it needs to be on high as well, but I
am told that it is still a bit quiet sounding, like I need more deviation.

Question: Is there a separate deviation adjustment for FM apart from the
mike amp gain setting? Or perhaps another question, since I am told that
hi or low makes no difference whatsoever, does the menu mike gain have
nothing to do with FM, and I need to up the diviation a bit?
