[Kenwood] Anyone know the best way to fix a Kenwood hand mic??

Hi Steve,

I have repaired two of the mics that came with my tm-v7a's.
If you have a paper hole punch, take an old credit card/
membership card and punch out a piece of the plastic material.
Next, disassemble the mic, you will note that there is a foam rubber plunger
that contacts the ptt switch. Superglue the small plastic disc that you
punched to the end of this plunger.
Please note that the disc will be slightly larger in diameter than the foam
plunger, so take care to make sure it is centered.
Let you work dry well, then reassemble carefully since the plunger is now
slightly longer. Once you have it assembled, you should hear and feel a more
positive ptt action. Good Luck.
