I had a 940 that was damaged in being shipped to me, and the fan housing
was bent, causing the power supply fan to NEVER run. I used it for two or
three months in that condition with no problems! But it may, of course,
have shortened the life of the P.S. At any rate, they appear to be pretty
tough!
