The majority of Receivers, nay all Ham RX, in order to eliminate the noise and thus improve the signal to noise ratio, are as narrow
as they can be made and still function.

Ideally the AF spectrum of any Transmitter should fit the response shape of the receiver filter for the most efficient/best
communications link.

Broadening the Transmitter AF response wastes power.
Any additional sidebands so generated fall outside the response curve of the receiver into the big black hole, (probably somebody
trying to work alongside you).

If it ain't broke don't fix it.

If you want to play audio consider sending Stereo with the left and right channels on the upper and lower SSB sidebands
respectively.

Or multiplex voice and PSK31

That should keep you busy for a couple of years. :)
