"opening up" a Kenwood for " higher fidelity" is like putting
graffiti on the Mona Lisa or the Taj Mahal... Kenwood rigs are renowned for
their good audio...LEAVE IT ALONE PLEASE.... We have enough crap signals on
the bands. Some (a minority) of those modified rigs sound OK, but most of
them are too wide and dirty.
