[Kenwood] Question re: 950sd / 950 sdx and 850 w/dsp100

Does the TS 950 sd and TS 950 sdx include the audio capabilities (both rx and tx) that the DSP100 provides the TS 850 ?  Can the tx audio on the 950's be "opened up" for higher fidelity?

What is the difference between the 950 sd and 950 sdx?
