Hello Gary from Don KA9QJG I Cannot help with Your Question on the TS-2000 
. I do have this Great radio but have not tried any sat stuff yet I 'am 
interested in A Convertor , I Have a ICOM-R700 Receiver and That cuts off 
at 2 gig,  Can I use device like the Convertor  to some how make it go Up 
Higher   2.4 Only interested in receive.
