I don't have a TH-F6A, but I have cell phones with spare LI batteries, and 
a Yaesu VX-7R with 2 LI batteries. Lithium Ion batteries will stay fully 
charged on the shelf for several months. I also have a Laptop and can leave 
it for a month. The readout shows 93 to 95% at that time, for whatever 
accuracy that readout has. If they are discharging in a couple of days, 
they must be at the end of their useful life.
