Ok you got my attention after two similar posts.
Both leave me scratching my head. What's to discuss??
A bit confusing , either you want to use the unit or you are fishing
for a buyer.
I have one exactly the same. Doesn't work now - no receive. No operating
manual but have the tech manual from HI Manuals ( Omaha?).
Wish I had the operating manual as Kenwood in those days didn't always
write an understandable manual for service work.
I saw one sell on E pay for quite a bit, in comparison, a few years ago.
Think it was close to $400 but I doubt if it's worth that today.
The 520 series is almost identical and gets better with the 530, 830
etc.
So it can't be worth that much. Working 520's are cheap and might
be easier to fix (in some respects) than the hy-bred circuit of the
511S,
with aged solid state devices.
BTW the 511 had one less band as I recall. Not much difference.
Antique value?? It's not a Collins so I'd say there is very little.

A good old Heathkit SB HW would do about the same, with a well written
manual.

Ok do it! Good unit when working. Nice classic appearance also.
