[Kenwood] TS-850 serial numbers

Hi,

I was just wondering. I know on some of the older Kenwood rigs like the 940
and 930 there were certain early serial numbers that are not as desirable on
the used market due to the fact that Kenwood "fixed" some of the problem
areas in the later runs.

Is there any such "cut-off" line with the TS-850? I was just wondering if a
rig in the 2XXXXXXX range might have problems that were then fixed in, for
example, the 6XXXXXXX range.

Any info appreciated.
