[Kenwood] Got an interesting problem...

I have a TM-455, and it bears some similiarity to the TS-60 and TM-255. I
got the "HELLO" message when turning the unit on when the current limit on
my supply was set low enough to operate the unit in RX, but the turn on
surge caused the supply to dip in voltage. Think Kenwood needs a better
choice in words than HELLO. Something more threatening like PFFT. Or the
E.E.E.E.E. that pagers and many cell phones display. HELLO is just too
friendly. Maybe its just a bad crimp connection/connector. --Mike, WV2ZOW
