I don't have my PK-232MBX connected to my '850, but I do use an external voice keyer connected to the 13-pin jack in the back.  For a *long* while, I had RF feedback problems operating 20M SSB and only on 20M SSB.  No amount of RF chokes, grounding, whatever, helped even with the keyer disconnected.  Finally, on the advice of an elmer, I added bypass caps from MIC+ to GND and MIC- to GND on the 8-pin mic side.  Voila!  No more feedback!

So, instead of (or in addition to) the ferrite beads, try adding some bypass caps.  I used .01uF MLCC (multi-layer ceramic chip) caps, but .001uF should also work.
