On my 520S, there is a gap which keys the plug... it is toward the bottom
of the plug/socket.
If I am looking at the back of the radio, and I start with the pin to the
*right* of the gap as #1, and count counter-clockwise.... the last two
pins are shorted in my plug.
On my plug I can look through a hole in the back (non-pin side) and see
the solder bridge between the stub ends of pins #8 and #9.
Hope this helps.
