[Kenwood] TS680s request

I have a TS-680S transceiver which works quite well, except the S meter is very tight.  Is there a s-meter sensitivity pot somewhere so I can set the meter for the proper MV reading with my sig gen?  The strongest sigs never go above S-8 or so on any band.  Thanks for help on this one -
