GOOD AFTERNOON!
The Contest Committee would like to announce a small change to the NØSS Contest rules.  This change occurred because, when the  NØSS rules were being finalized no one considered the possibility that there may be entries that utilized results from VHF contest (Rovers) or State QSO (KØS) parties.  The current ARRL Centennial celebration using the W1AW/Ø would also fit into this category.

As a result the following change will be made to the rules, effectively immediately.  
Any questions will be clarified at the next meeting.

The contest committee has made two improvements to the N0SS rules to further increase participation:
 
1.        The “home call sign only” restriction is eliminated.  That means your participation in W1AW/0, KS QSO parties and other contests where you are using another call will all be counted toward N0SS points.


2.        An exception is being made to the normal “home QTH” requirement allowing for VHF/UHF and State QSO party rover operations.
 
The rules will be updated to reflect these once the wording can be finalized and the web site updated.
