Hello all,

In just a week W1AW/0 will be active from Kansas. I'm the headhunter for
control ops.  We have 2-hour time slots throughout the week (starting 0000
Wednesday).  There are two cw and two ssb lines at all times - each GMT day
there are 5-6 'main' HF bands and the others are secondary. If you sign up
you can pick and switch among the bands on your row.  One digital line -
any bands, any digital mode.  Plus 12-hour satellite and VHF+ slots.

So far I have a pool of around a dozen ops, including K0VXU K0VBU N0AG
from KCDXC. Things will fill further anyway but it would be nice to have
more slots spoken for so we can ensure a good KS presence.  Those of you on
the KS side, or able to operate from there, let me know if you are
interested.  I can provide the URL for the signup link.  You will need to
provide a quick contact option (cell, probably) in case there is a need to
QRT/QSY you, and provide an ADIF file at the of the week to me for
forwarding to ARRL for LoTW and paper QSLing.

In following days I will send the control ops some pointers and
suggestions gleaned from previous W1AW/x operations.
